Vantage Consulting Group Hires Pharmaceutical Industry Veteran John Capants
HILLSBOROUGH, N.J., Jan. 25, 2017
Vantage Consulting Group, a trusted manufacturing automation expert, today announced it has hired John Capants as a portfolio director. Capants will be responsible for the development of sales and implementation activities for Vantage clients in the packaging, serialization and automation services business.
John Capants comes to Vantage Consulting Group from Teva Pharmaceuticals where he served as Executive Director, Engineering Technology & Qualification, for the past six years. In his role with Teva, Capants led the corporate department of key subject matter experts and qualification engineers to manage large and/or complex capital equipment projects. In addition, Capants served as the engineering leader on Teva’s global Serialization Team, overseeing U.S. implementation teams and managing vendor relationships.

In addition to Teva Pharmaceuticals, Capants previously held management positions with Ortec International, Cardinal Health, Glatt Air Techniques, Permacel and Polycast Technology Corp. Capants earned a Professional Engineering License with the State of New York and has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Lehigh University.
